HHWD Heating Jacket

The HHWD is medium watt density insulated heating jacket for heating drum contents to 50-70 °C. This heater jacket is suitable for 205L drums and ideal for outdoor use.

Applications:

• Suitable for melting honey or reducing the viscosity of grease liquids (e.g. grease, lubrication, oils, urethanes, paints and adhesives).
• Suitable for drum heating use in areas requiring washdowns or exposed to outdoor conditions, whether partially or completely unprotected.

Specifications:

• For 200-litre steel, fibre or plastic drums. (Diameter of 573mm – 621 mm)
• The standard model can heat content up to 50-70°C. Also available in fixed 70°C (pn 620051 HHWD70) and 90°C (pn 620052 HHWD90) versions.
• 1100 W with a (non-variable) thermal cutout thermostat (heat rate of 4-6 °C per hour).
• IP56 Ingress Protection means it can withstand short burst with high pressure hoses or rain showers and is dustproof. This heater is NOT waterproof (cannot be submerged).
• Cover-coated nylon and glass cloth inner and outer.
• 3 strap style insulated heating jacket, 1800-1950 mm x 850 mm high (covers entire drum height).
• Insulation – stitched fibreglass (4 mm min).
