HHD Heating Jacket
The HHD (High-Heat) heater jacket is a full-length design for faster heat rates and can heat the entire contents of the drum at working temperatures between 50-60 °C.
Applications:
This heating jacket is perfect for melting solids or decreasing the viscosity of content, such as honey, grease, lubrication oils, urethanes, paints and adhesives.
Specifications
- For 200-litre drum (diameter of 573 – 621 mm)
- Medium watt density for heating drum contents up to 60 °C
- 1100 W with 0-90 °C thermostat (heat rate of 4-6 °C per hour)
- 3 strap style heater jacket – 1800-1950 mm x 850 mm high; this covers the entire drum height
- IP54 Ingress Protection
- Cover – coated nylon outer facing and glass cloth inner facing
- Insulation – high density stitched fibreglass (4 mm min)
- Supplied with 5-metre armoured cable for 240VAC 10A supply (but no plug)
- We also offer a more precise model, HHD Pro, which comes with a 0-90°C digital thermostat for situations requiring more precise temperature control.
