Base heater
The Faratherm base heater uses induction heating to warm drums from the bottom. Base heaters can be used along with heating jackets to efficiently heat drum contents.
- Ideal for plastic or metal drums up to 205 litres.
- Medium watt density for heating drum contents up to 50°C.
- Inductive 500 W with no thermostat (=1020 W).
- Ingress protection to IP66.
- IECEx and ATEX certified for zone 1 and 2.
- Supplied with 5-metre armoured cable for 240VAC 10A supply (but no plug).
- Combine with Thermosafe to boost heating of solids by up to 40%.
- Combine with Insulation only jacket to increase heat intention.
